Supported by a who's-who of controls companies, LonMark International counts among its members not only the manufacturers fueling this revolution but also the end-users, equipment specifiers, and system integrators driving its implementation.

Since its inception in 1994 — 21 years ago — and new corporate structure in 2003, LonMark International has become a major driving force in the establishment of interoperable guidelines and is committed to educating the market on the value of open, interoperable systems by providing tools, resources, and support for its members and their markets. LonMark International Affiliates span the globe with local presence in the Americas, Asia, and Europe.

LonMark International and its Affiliate Organizations have over 400 members worldwide. LonMark International membership is open to any manufacturer, distributor, engineer, system integrator, or end-user interested in the development, specification, and use of open, interoperable products utilizing ISO/IEC 14908-1 and related standards.

Products that have been verified to conform to the LonMark International interoperability guidelines are eligible to carry the LonMark logo.

Today thousands of companies are using LonWorks control networks to provide systems and solutions for building, home, industrial, telecommunications, transportation, and other industries.  There are millions of LonWorks technology-based devices installed worldwide.  LonMark International provides an open forum for member companies to work together on marketing and technical programs to promote the availability of open, interoperable control devices.
