The Recertification Program for Qualified Open Systems Installers, Professionals and Integrators provides ongoing education and verification of the proficiency of individuals that have held their LCP credentials for a few years. LCPs install, integrate and maintain systems utilizing LonMark certified products and the recertification program is a part of demonstrating that individuals still hold the knowledge they've learned about LonWorks networking and have gained additional information about the changes in the LonWorks controls-networking industries.
Do I need to Recertify?
If a few years have passed since you received your LonMark Certified Professional (LCP) credential, then yes, it may be time to learn about the changes in the industry since you certified and to revalidate your credentials.
Industry support for this important program is growing worldwide. More and more specifications are requiring LonMark Certified Professionals for project implementation. Due to continued industry initiatives, we anticipate demand growing even stronger in the coming months and years.
Recertification is easy
We’ve made it is very easy for you to get recertified from the comfort of your own home or office: All you have to do is review a quick, self-guided training presentation and take a 50-question exam. The questions cover new material and recent changes in the standards, technology, and market that are presented in the training material and also several questions of high value from the original tested content.
