Trend Control Systems Ltd.is the UK market leader in the manufacture and supply of Intelligent Building Controls and operates a distribution and support network across Europe, North America, Australia, South Africa and the Far East. Since its formation in 1980 Trend has undergone rapid and consistent growth, achieving turnover in excess of 30m in 1996. Trend is a BSI registered firm complying with the requirements of ISO9000. This quality assurance standard covers the whole of Trend's business including the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and servicing of Intelligent Building Control Systems. Trend intelligent building controls are installed in all types of non-residential buildings including shops, leisure centres, offices, schools, hospitals and factories. These provide energy efficient control solutions for the processes of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and other building services. Extensive support services are provided by both Trend's National Training Centre, which offers a wide range of product training courses designed to allow logical progression in a time frame suited to individual customers, and by the Field Services Department which gives system users the ability to take advantage of a range of maintenance and service packages. Investment in product development and new applications is central to Trend's success, and the company continues to invest a high percentage of turnover in technical development. Although the rate of innovation is high, it is company policy that all new Trend products are backward compatible with the many systems currently in use. Trend has made a major investment in leading manufacturing and automatic testing. Trend's manufacturing facility provides a flexible large volume production facility combining quality processes with quality assurance.
