Industrial Task Group

The LonMark Industrial Task Group focuses on issues of a general nature with emphasis on industrial applications. This group's area involves:

• Development of a Programmable Controller profile to allow the LonMark certification of devices typically designed within the framework of traditional Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's).
• Development of a Configurable I/O functional profile and/or interoperability guidelines that are suitable for use in configurable and expandable I/O devices common to the Industrial market.
• Development of a standardized, general purpose PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) loop controller.
