Product Description: Excel ZAPP is a remote control system based on radio frequency technology, which gives the user the ability to easily and comfortably control his room environment, such as Occupancy, Temperature setpoint offset, Fanspeed, Sunblinds, Light switching and dimming, Free useable buttons and Office-Styles. The system consists of a handheld unit, RT70701008; a radio frequency receiver W7070A1000; and optionally radio frequency wallmodules for space temperature T7270A1019. One receiver can handle up to eight different rooms. It transfers the user commands from the handhelds to the LON bus by using standard network variables. Installation and operation is very simple. Linking the ZAPP handhelds to the ZAPP receiver works by just pressing a button. Job setup can be easily accomplished with standard tools, such as Lon Maker, to link the ZAPP receiver to any other devices on the LON bus. Rearranging rooms, moving walls etc does not affect the installation, because radio freqency, other than infrared, travels walls.
