This DO-8 controller is a cost-effective, interoperable control system for home, building and industrial applications. The analog module is based on the LonWorks® protocol that includes peer-to-peer communication. This unit provides eight discrete, Digital output channels and 2 network connections. Network communication adheres to the industry-standard EIA-709.1 LonTalk® protocol. The 8 outputs accommodate 24V DC 80mA. Each discrete output can be operated by elay devices. The Nico DO-8 can be connected via LonTalk protocol to additional control system devices including touch panels, digital I/O units, sensors, security systems, card readers, lighting dimmers, hand controllers and any other LonTalk device.
