Product Description: The Excel 12 FCU + Light application is used for integrated room control. The application controls one FCU and 3 lights. FCU functionality:- 3 sequences configurable for HEAT, COOL and CHANGEOVER. - Minimum / maximum control limits to guarantee a minimum / maximum temperature. 2 additional temperature sensors may be used for limit control.- Support of 0...10V actuators, thermal actuators, floating actuators, PWM and Staged Output via triac or relay outputs - 3-stage fan via triac or relay outputs - Digital input for condensation, occupancy sensor, window contact etc. Light functionality: Excel 12 controls up to three lights. Up to two of these lights may be dimmable or constant light control.- ON / OFF switching dependent on: + Effective occupancy mode (occupied / standby / unoccupied). Effective occupancy is determined by occupancy sensor, schedule and override input. + Detected light level (LON sensor or hard wired sensor) - Manual switching (hard wired push buttons or LON wall module) - Dimming / constant light control via analog outputs (this requires an HFD (High Frequency Unit) unit for dimming with 1...10Vdc input). - Grouping of lights, e.g. switch three lights via a single push button.- Soft ON/OFF switching for dimmable lamps Free inputs / outputs: - Otherwise unused inputs may be utilized for monitoring via the LonWorks network (1 x temperature, 1 x percentage and 3 x binary. - Up to 2 unused binary outputs may be switched via the LON network. Example: An Excel 500 controller may be used to monitor the humidity in a room and switch on a dehumidifier via the digital output of the Excel 12.
