The most-recent set of the LonMark Resource Files (LMRFs), including the Static Programmable Device profile, the Global Solar Radiation sensor profile, Simple Scheduler profile, Safety Integrity Level SNVTs, Mass-Flow SNVTs, and more.

Includes all of the machine-readable, version 13.20 (beta), 13.12 (beta), 13.10 (beta), 13.04 (beta), 13.03 (beta), 13.02 (beta), 13.01 (alpha), and version 13.00 SNVTs, SCPTs, Enums, and SFPTs that form the basic building blocks of a LonMark certified device; and the updated Resource File API, revision 5   run-time files—all in one, convenient executable that ensures the proper placement of files, backup of existing FMT files, and setting of paths and version numbers in the Microsoft^® Windows^® OS Registry.

Tested for 32-bit installation on Windows XP™, Windows Vista^®, and Windows 7™ computer operating systems and 64-bit Windows 7 OS installations.  No formal testing has been performed on Windows 8™ at this time.

Known Issues with v14.00:

STANDARD.FMT: Because of the quantity of new Formats, the new STANDARD.FMT file will not work with Echelon's LonMaker prior to version 3.13 SP 2. Workaround: upgrade LonMaker installation to version 3.13 SP 2 or later; or use v13.00 STANDARD.FMT file; or remove un-needed Formats from the v14.00 STANDARD.FMT file. ----- Resource File Application Programming Interface (RFAPI) solutions built from RFAPI source code prior to v2.41 will not work with the new v14.00 LMRFs. The new RFAPI (as compiled and shipped in the v14.00 installer) is backward compatible with the previous version -- and it is required to support the resource-file format version used for the v14.00 LMRFs. The backward compatibility is implemented by having the RFAPI work compatibly with the previous version of the RFAPI and hiding the new features. New features must be explicitly enabled by the calling applications, which is how applications inform the API that they can handle the new features. This is the same strategy used for the last update to the resource-file format (which was when support for extended types was first added). Workaround: (1) Windows users can use the DLLs installed with the v14.00 LMRFs. (2) Those needing custom solutions can use the new source code found below under "Resource File Aplication Programming Interface (only for porting)". (3) Echelon Corporation's NodeBuilder Resource Editor (free to LonMark members in the Member Download area) can be used to down-rev the v14.00 files to work with the previous source files. (4) The v14.00 files can be uninstalled and a previous set installed.

This is the previous, non-beta release of the LonMark Resource Files (LMRFs).

Includes all of the machine-readable, version 13.00, SNVTs, SCPTs, Enums, and SFPTs that form the basic building blocks of a device LonMark certified device; and the Resource File API, revision 4 run-time files—all in one, convenient executable that ensures the proper placement of files, backup of existing FMT files, and setting of paths and version numbers in the Windows OS Registry.

NOTE: This installer was updated (from 13.00.10 to 13.00.14) to include the DRF API updates to supports invalid-value overrides.  This override ability is available for CP types and CP and NV members of function profiles.  The changes are backward compatible, such that files created using the old API can be opened using the new API and vice-versa.  However, if files containing invalid value overrides are opened using the old API, those override values will be lost; as expected.

A utility to convert version 3 LonMark format files to conform to the version 2 specification for format files. The version 3 specification for format files added support for localized formats, where the formatting is determined by the operating system's regional settings.

Download this utility only if you are using a tool that does not support the version 3 specification for format files.

The latest release of the LonMark Resource File API for porting.

This is the current release of the RF API source code.  This new release (compatible and installed with the v14.00 LMRFs in executable form) is backward-compatible with previous versions.

Need to port the read-only API interface to a non- Windows OS platform?
All the header files are available in this separate ZIP archive.

Includes Windows OS DLL libraries for reading and writing and includes ANSI® C source code to port the read portion of the same API to other platforms and read versions 1-6 type files, versions 1-5 functional profiles, and versions 1-3 language files in LonMark resource files.

Download this API only if you need to port the API to a different, unsupported platform.  All run-time, Windows OS DLL API libraries are installed with the 12.00, 12.11, and 13.xx, and 14.00 LonMark Resource Files’ installers and do not need this API to be ported for the resource files to be readable in Windows.
