GPD506/P5 Variable Speed Motor Drive

Yaskawa’s GPD 506/P5 variable frequency AC drive is available with a cost effective LonWorks® interface board, allowing open protocol communications with “plug and play” simplicity. The GPD506/P5 LonWorks interface features Echelon’s twisted pair free topology transceiver (FT-3150). The smart transceiver is also directly compatible with Echelon’s LPT-10 Link Power transceiver. Yaskawa Electric designed and built its GPD 506/P5 LonWorks Interface option to comply with the LonMark® Interoperability Guidelines and the LonMark Functinal Profile for a 3-phase asynchronous motor drive. The GPD 506/P5 LonWorks interface option card mounts integral to the drive and provides an easy connection point for the LonWorks network media. The GPD506/P5 LonWorks interface card is provided factory installed or can also be retrofitted by the user into existing Yaskawa GPD 506/P5 drives.
