MicroTech® III Chiller Unit Controller

The MicroTech III chiller unit controller supports both the Daikin Applied  Pathfinder™  Air-Cooled  Screw  Chiller and the Daikin Applied Air-Cooled Scroll Chiller, model AGZ-D.   The MicroTech III chiller unit controller offers the Open Choices™ feature,  which provides easy integration to your BAS of choice via a LonWorks® network. The MicroTech III chiller unit controller offers up to 180 unit controller variables, network input variables, configuration parameters, and alarm parameters per chiller.   The communication module, loaded with the LonMark® chiller profile, is available as a factory or field-installed option on the MicroTech III chiller unit controller.
Air-cooled chillers with MicroTech III unit controllers exceed HVAC industry standards for operating efficiency and low sound levels, providing optimum operating costs and comfort throughout the life of the chiller.  Reduced refrigerant charge allows both the Pathfinder and AGZ-D chillers to qualify for LEED EAC-4 points.  Air-cooled screw and scroll chillers also provide optimum operating efficiencies at both full and part load. Unit capacities range from 25 to 190 tons (AGZ-D) and 15- to 530 tons (Pathfinder).
